‘The Terminator’ is featured in a FC Salzburg kit rather than the black and yellow of Dortmund. It lists his full name on the front, which you don’t find with many modern options.

It might not be an RC, but Haaland’s Color Blast insert features the player in Dortmund colors, and was released as part of 2020 Panini Obsidian.

7. 2019 Topps Museum Collection Erling Haaland RPA #MAR-EH (eBay)

2019 Topps Museum Collection Bundesliga features a strong collectible in the form of a rookie patch which is signed by the player. 

The set is almost identical to the 2019-20 Museum UEFA Champions League release. There are coloured corner plates that change depending on the parallel.

Once again, the addition of a serial number raises the value. It also offers something a little different compared to the others on the list.

Any of the Haaland cards from the set currently sell for large amounts, especially if they’ve been graded by the likes of PSA or BGS.

One collectible which tends to stand head and shoulders above the rest, Erling Haaland’s 2019-20 Topps Chrome Bundesliga RC is another valuable option.

The autograph is enough to make hobbyists pay attention. That’s without accounting for the various parallels which correspond with the border colour. 

In fact, it’s the first ever chromium Erling Haaland BVB rookie card, so it has to be on the agenda for any serious investor. 

Unfortunately, graded versions are already out of reach for the average collector, especially gem mint versions which are currently valued in the five-figure range. It’s one for high rollers, but they’re banking on the price going up exponentially in the long-term.

Haaland scored a 23 minute hat-trick on his debut, coming off the bench with Dortmund 3-1 down as they went on to beat Augsburg 5-3.

Prices have held up remarkably well despite the collection being released in January 2021, especially when looking at Gold copies with a print run of 10. (Base copies are numbered to 99.) It also has one of the greatest action shots of the Haaland rookie cards to make the list.

2019-20 Topps Now UEFA Champions League was a weekly release which featured noteworthy performances from the European Cup. 

Haaland was included as one of the first cards in the set after hitting a hat-trick for RB Salzburg. The card also has an insane print run of just 178. As his true RC, there’s always going to be increased interest if you’re looking at graded copies. 

As of 2022, it’s the most valuable Haaland card on the market by a wide margin. It’s also one of the rarest soccer cards featuring the Norwegian striker, and can sometimes be tough to locate.
