2021 Topps Chrome Sapphire Edition Formula 1 is a special edition of the flagship collection. It’s easily identified thanks to the unique cracked ice Sapphire background, which definitely stands out compared to normal versions. 1. 2021 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Mick Schumacher RC Auto #CAMS (eBay)
Schumacher’s 2021 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Racing RC auto takes the top spot on this list. He’s pictured in his Haas F1 gear, and their title sponsor was Uralkali at the time. (This was later cancelled following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.) As his first licensed F1 card (remember, the 2020 set was F2) it’s reasonably valuable. It also features a stickered signature.

What’s happening with Mick Schumacher in 2023?
It’s likely that he will race as an F1 driver again. Unfortunately, a couple of high-speed, expensive crashes put his future under the microscope early in 2022. He still has time to turn it around, and was nearly picked up by AlphaTauri team boss Franz Tost for the 22/23 season.

One issue is that there are lots of similar cards with an RC logo, but the 2021 collection is a cut above due to being a true F1 release. Then there’s the fact that Schumacher isn’t racing an F1 car as of now. However, it does make his cards slightly cheaper to collect in comparison to a year ago. He might not be able to live up to hype as the son of a seven-time F1 World Champion, but it’s certainly too early to count him out as of yet.
