Topps Total Football 2023-24 is the latest release for the niche collectible soccer card app, and there are a number of additions aiming to improve the overall quality of life for users.
We’ll take you through everything you could possibly need to know about the best Topps Total Football cards for the 2023-24 season, in our detailed review looking at what’s new, and whether the TTF app is worth downloading.
Topps Total Football Season 2023-24: What to expect
TTF works by allowing the user to print physical versions of the cards they own digitally.
There aren’t many major changes of note compared to the 2022-23 app release. The list of parallels has been extended to include higher numbers, while the first 99 copies printed will come with a serial number, rather than a 1st Edition stamp.
The cards themselves are also improved, with crisp designs and an emphasis on making them more visually appealing. You’ll find lots of player info on the reverse, including their UEFA debut and their preferred foot.
The game itself has been simplified, so it’s more accessible for anyone who is just starting out with the app.
I’ve printed a few cards from the 2023-24 TTF set, but I’ve been saving coins in an effort to grab a couple of high-end parallels by the end of the season.
If you’ve checked out the app over the past two seasons, you’ll know exactly what to expect. For everyone else, it’s as beginner-friendly as ever.

TTF 2023/24: Parallels
Parallels are always going to be the most valuable cards within the set, whether you’re looking on the app, or at their physical counterparts. There’s slightly less star power this year, while the range of parallels has increased. As such, I’d expect cards to sell for less than last year, given there are more on the market.
As always, the value of a player will be dependent on their popularity, as well as the team they play for.
TTF 2023/24: Recent sales
We’ve taken a look at eBay to find out about recent sales for 2023-24 Topps Total Football cards, and whether they’re worth the materials they’re printed on.
Outside of one-of-ones and players like Ronaldinho and Jude Bellingham, there’s not much interest in terms of high-end options. Don’t expect the average parallel to be worth much, unless it’s a player that is fairly collectible.

Are the cards worth collecting?
It’s difficult to say. I’d definitely recommend printing some of the rarer parallels, while the same goes for cards featuring the most popular players.
It’s worth noting that this is the first year in which you’ll be unable to collect Total Football cards featuring either Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. The former has moved to Saudi Arabia, while the latter has joined MLS. There’s still the likes of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, even if they’re a step down in terms of prestige.
My personal plan is to stack coins, waiting for a few months until I can afford a one-of-one to print. If any card is likely to retain value long-term, it’ll either be one of the rookies, or the rarest options.
Topps Total Football Season 2023/24: Final thoughts
It’s a fun set, and the potential to pack parallels out of the free packs is a great addition. As always, the app is highly monetized, and you can expect to be spammed with adverts throughout, whether it’s for the season pass, or the latest promo such as Black Friday.
We wouldn’t expect to make much profit from the average card from the set, especially after factoring in for everything from postage to packaging. The Topps Total Football set is also fairly obscure, even within the soccer card niche. It can be hard to sell the cards if there isn’t an established market.
Even so, it’s a decent hybrid of digital and physical collecting, allowing users an opportunity to rip packs, and print their favourite cards.
