Ansu Fati is back in action for Barcelona, and has been impressive as he continues on his road to recovery.

Often revered as one of the greatest talents to come out of the famed La Masia youth academy in recent years, Fati’s progress has been stifled over the past 24 months due to a series of unfortunate injuries.

Parallels come with low print runs, numbered to 150 or fewer.

4. 2019 Panini Liga Megacracks Ansu Fati RC #72BIS (eBay)

One of the more popular sets for La Liga rookies, 2019 Megacracks features a great full-bleed action shot of the player with the ball at his feet. You can see the crowd in the background, with a large Barcelona logo near the top.

The design makes it more difficult to locate in pristine condition. There are only 103 PSA 10 copies at the current time of writing, and it’s not unheard of for them to sell for roughly $1,000.

3. 2019 Panini Obsidian Ansu Fati RC #118 (eBay)

The Ansu Fati RC found in 2019 Panini Obsidian is another valuable option. Despite the lack of an autograph, it’s still reasonably popular. The design is one of the main reasons why, along with base cards coming in with a print run of only 165 copies. Electric Etch parallels are eye-catching, and come in a range of different colors. (You’ll see an example of the Green parallel above.)

2. 2019 Panini Chronicles Rookie Ticket Ansu Fati RC #RT4 (eBay)

Found in 2019 Panini Chronicles, Ansu Fati’s Rookie Ticket is another popular option. The set contains several different established Panini brands, including Contenders. It uses a traditional Rookie Ticket design, with a blue and white color scheme. 

In terms of parallels, there are Red copies, and a Cracked Ice version limited to 23 copies. (The unnumbered Red parallel can be seen above.)

1. 2019 Topps Chrome Sapphire Ansu Fati RC #45 (eBay)

A special version of the base 2019-20 Topps Chrome UEFA Champions League set, the Sapphire Edition offers an assortment of base cards, parallels and a few image variations.

This Fati RC is the most valuable option overall, and comes with a few exclusive parallels to chase. It’s another that can easily sell for four figures when graded.

What does the market look like for the best Ansu Fati rookie cards? We’ve put together a quick guide below. 

There are various affordable Fati rookie cards which are a great way to start your collection. This includes ungraded versions, and even some slabbed cards.

We’d advise to check out base copies if you’re looking for cheaper options. A number of 2021/2022 autos can also be picked up for roughly $30.

With eight separate injuries at just 19 years old, the odds aren’t stacked in his favor. He has an opportunity to make an impact this season, alongside the likes of fellow Barcelona star Pedri for club and country. 

Despite his potential, high profile team, and young age, there are still question marks surrounding his longevity. It’s likely to be the reason why the prices for his best RCs haven’t hit the stratosphere as of yet.
