Bukayo Saka was named Arsenal’s player of the season for the 2020-21 campaign, while he was the overwhelming winner again in 2021/22. Saka put in an array of eye-catching individual performances throughout the season, and claimed 58 per cent of the vote.

He has played at left-back, central midfield and down both flanks for his club side, winning the 2019-20 FA Cup.

We’re taking the opportunity to look at a trio of top Bukayo Saka rookie cards.

The Best Bukayo Saka Rookie Cards

Bukayo Saka rookie cards were released in 2019, with a further late entry included below.

(He only made his debut for Arsenal FC in January 2019, as the first player born in the 21st century to play in a Premier League match.)

2020 Panini Immaculate Collection Bukayo Saka RC #77

The 2020 Panini Immaculate Collection was released in January 2021, a full two years after Saka’s Premier League debut. Regardless, they’ve slapped an RC logo on this card from the base set, which is numbered to only 99 copies.

There are a further five parallels, which work out to be some of the most valuable options overall. The red, white, and silver finish makes for an especially clean design.

  • Parallels: Bronze #/50, Sapphire #/25, Gold #/10, Ruby FOTL #/8, Platinum 1/1

2. 2019-20 Panini Chronicles Pitch Kings Bukayo Saka RC #R4-5 (eBay)

Saka’s 2019-20 Panini Chronicles Soccer RC is picking up lots of attention at the moment, specifically the Pitch Kings IV insert featuring a unique understated design. It can only be found in hobby boxes, and it’s a reasonably rare release.

He’s had another strong season, and PSA 10 copies look to be a solid investment over the next 12 months.

1. 2019 Panini Tabloid Bukayo Saka RC #64 (eBay)

Saka’s true rookie is found in the 2019 Panini Tabloid set. (This means that it was his first ever release.)

The commemorative newspaper sticker collection kicked off the new partnership between Panini and the Premier League. It features a shot of Saka standing on the pitch.

It’s rare to find many pristine copies even three years later, and there are only 51 PSA 10 copies.

Bukayo Saka Rookie Cards: Buyers Guide

What do we think of the current market for the best Bukayo Saka rookie cards?

Ungraded copies of the 2019 Tabloid sticker can be found for roughly $30 at the current time of writing. It’s arguably the best cheaper option overall.

There’s a duo of premium options if you’re looking at Bukayo Saka rookie cards, while the sticker is his first ever collectible. Any of the three would be a great pick if you’re looking at Gem Mint PSA 10 versions.

Our personal pick would be the Pitch Kings RC, given it’s a card rather than a sticker, and it was released in 2020 rather than 2021.

Bukayo Saka Rookie Cards: Final Thoughts

Bukayo Saka has helped to elevate a team in transition, and he has to be seen as one of the brightest young talents in the Premier League. He scored 11 times and added seven assists for Arsenal in 2021/22.

Will he stay with the Gunners in the long-term? It’ll be tough to win major trophies with the north London side, while there’s a tenuous link with Liverpool doing the rounds at the moment. However, the club has closed the gap on the likes of Manchester City in recent seasons.

He would certainly compliment almost any team in world football. If he continues to progress, he’ll definitely be one to watch over the next few seasons.

Popular later releases include Panini Obsidian, Panini Mosaic, 2020-21 Panini Prizm, Panini Select, Panini Premier League, and many more.

Bukayo Saka PSA graded cards are popular, no matter the set or parallel. His Arsenal RCs are clearly a cut above, and could be worth far more if he wins major trophies like the Champions League in the future.

It’s hard to think of better options in terms of modern EPL Arsenal cards.
