Serbian international striker Dušan Vlahović was awarded Serie A Best Young Player in 2020–21, having scored 21 league goals. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham were interested in a move for the 22-year-old but were unable to meet Fiorentina’s asking price. He moved to Juventus in January 2022.

Vlahović made his senior debut in 2020, while he scored four goals in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, helping his side to reach the finals.

We’ve put together a list with the best Dušan Vlahović rookie cards, with lots of info about each one found below.

The Best Dušan Vlahović Rookie Cards

The truth is, there aren’t many Vlahović RCs to be on the lookout for.

2. 2019 Panini Chronicles Rookie Ticket Dusan Vlahovic RC #RT31 (eBay)

Vlahović joined the Fiorentina first team for good in 2019, and he was included in the 2019-20 Panini Chronicles Soccer collection that season. (However, this Rookie Ticket is his only card from the entire set, as he was relatively unknown compared to stars from English, Spanish or German leagues.)

It has a traditional Rookie Ticket design. There are unnumbered Red foil cards, as well as the ever popular Cracked Ice parallels, limited to just 23 copies. PSA 10 versions of the Red parallel are already selling for four figures. If you’d prefer to stick with cardboard collectibles, you won’t find anything better.

1. 2016-17 Panini Fifa 365 2017 Dusan Vlahovic RC #336 (eBay)

For Vlahović’s true RC you’ll have to look for the ‘The Golden World of Football’ Serbia/Slovenia version of the 2016-17 Panini Fifa 365 sticker album.

There was also a UK edition of ‘The Golden World of Football’ collection, which is missing the Vlahović sticker.

The Serbia/Slovenia edition swaps out Villarreal CF (Spain), Olympique de Marseille (France), FC Basel 1893 (Switzerland), AS Roma (Italy), and Grémio (Brazil), adding PFC Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), FK Crvena Zvezda (Serbia), FK Partizan Belgrad (Serbia), NK Maribor (Slovenia), and NK Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia).

As a rare collectible from a smaller European region, PSA 10 copies have to be seen as one of his best investment options overall.

Dušan Vlahović Rookie Cards: Buyers Guide

There are only a couple to choose from, which makes it a great opportunity for anyone who thinks Vlahović has what it takes to light up Europe over the next few years. Here are our thoughts on the current state of the market.

The Best Cheap Dušan Vlahović Rookie Cards

Ungraded copies of either option are a good place to start. They’re still relatively valuable when all is said and done. We’d also advise to send any good copies off for grading, given the large difference in price.

The Best Dušan Vlahović Investment Rookie Card

We’d stick with the 2016-17 Panini Fifa 365 sticker, although the Cracked Ice Rookie Ticket parallel also has to be seen as a contender. It’s hard to go wrong with only two to pick from. One is an older sticker, and the other is a card with an RC logo with a popular design. It’s up to you, and your personal preferences.

Dušan Vlahović Rookie Cards: Buying/Selling Advice

Vlahović rookie cards are increasing in value, especially as he joined a Juventus team which is always likely to be challenging for titles. If not, he’d be warmly welcomed elsewhere.

A big money move to Spain or England may happen in the future. That would boost the value of his RCs as long as he keeps scoring goals.

Then there’s the 2022 World Cup. Vlahović qualified with Serbia, and will enter Group G along with Brazil, Switzerland, and Cameroon. They have a great chance of progression to the next stage. It will give collectors across the globe a real chance to see what the player has to offer.

We think that he’s a great investment option, although much will depend on the World Cup, and whether he can keep up his form in Turin. As with all young players, there is an element of risk. Vlahović does have the tools necessary to make it.
