Ansu Fati has been out with injury for long periods over the past two years, unable to build on his previous form at club level with Barcelona after the player underwent multiple surgical operations after suffering a couple of serious setbacks. 

He scored his first goal in his first international start in September 2020, scoring Spain’s third goal against Ukraine to become their youngest ever goalscorer at the age of 17 years and 311 days. 

In doing so he broke a 95-year record, and he could still make this World Cup tournament, which would also be his first ever. 

Keep an eye on his KABOOM! insert, wrapped in chrome with a familiar comic book design.

The average Pele collectible goes for megabucks, and it’s no different if you’re looking at signed numbered options such as The Beautiful Game insert seen above. 

Featuring an action shot of Pele in his prime, the Brazilian has a recognisable signature which is a major hit from the 2021-22 Donruss set. There’s also a range of coloured parallels to chase, such as a Blue version numbered to 99 copies.

Possibly the most famous footballer of recent decades, former England captain David Beckham is given the KABOOM! treatment for this rare insert. (Cards from the subset fall at a rate of just one per Hobby case, which is why they’re so valuable despite the lack of a serial number.)

The midfielder is pictured during his prime for England, with a team logo found in the bottom left corner. This is the only KABOOM! insert from the set to feature a retired legend.

Haaland is back again, this time in the KABOOM! subset which features the player in his red international kit. 

There aren’t many high end Haaland Norway options, so this insert definitely stands out from the crowd if you think he’ll continue to bag goals at a rapid rate over the next decade. 

It’s reflected in the overall asking price, as many collectors favour World Cup rookie cards above all others, while it’s an SSP from an extremely popular collection. A PSA 10 copy recently sold for a flat $7,200. We think that’s a great long-term investment and that it could easily reach five figures in the near future.
