New Bayern Munich signing Ryan Gravenberch is one of Europe’s most coveted young players.

From the Emerging Stars subset in 2020 Topps Inception, this RC offers something a little different compared to the others on the list.
The stylized background makes for an eye-catching collectible, with a close up of Gravenberch in his Ajax kit. The card is finished in gold chrome, used for the majority of the text. There are also six rare numbered parallels to chase.

An exclusive blue version of the base 2020-21 Topps Chrome UEFA Champions League set, the 2020-21 Topps Chrome Sapphire Edition offers an assortment of base cards, parallels and a few image variations.
Only 10 players were given variations, and Gravenberch was included as an RC. Both are numbered #98, and share the same collection of Prizm parallels. Rarer versions can sell for a considerable sum if graded gem mint.

2020 Topps Merlin Chrome is the next set we’ll be looking at, with a signed RC that works out to be one of the more valuable options.
It uses 1996 Merlin for the main design, and includes a stickered auto that is one of the top Gravenberch rookie cards overall.
Once again, you’ll find a close-up action shot of the player, presumably with the ball at his feet.

What do we think of the current state of the market for Ryan Gravenberch rookie cards?
Gravenberch is a popular player, although he’s still only a midfielder. Many of his cards are still relatively affordable, especially if you aren’t looking at graded versions.
Any of the cards listed above will make for a viable investment option, especially if you’re checking out the rarest parallels. We like the look of either of the autographed options, especially as they’re from a duo of the more popular soccer sets released in 2020.
His Euro 2020 RC is also a great card, even if it’s unsigned. (The Netherlands were dumped out in the Round of 16 by the Czech Republic.)

Ryan Gravenberch Rookie Cards: Buying/Selling Advice
With the news that Gravenberch has signed for Bayern, it’s clear that he’s going to win a serious amount of silverware in the future.
He also plays for a decent national side which always has a chance at winning a major trophy.
In other words, it’s easy to see why Gravenberch rookie cards are some of the more expensive from the class of 2020.
At the very least, we’d keep tabs on his progress with the German giants, especially as the upcoming 2022 World Cup is nearing with each passing week.
The Netherlands are in Group A along with Senegal, Ecuador, and Qatar, and should cruise through the group stages easily. We expect Gravenberch to play a starring role in the 2022 tournament.
