Futera has released 15 Liverpool Headliners cards, including a mix of established stars and up-and-coming rookies.

We grabbed one of the Mo Salah cards directly from Futera in an effort to see what all the fuss was about, hoping to snag a one-of-one in the process.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Futera Liverpool Headliners 2021/22 set, including the best cards to collect, a checklist, and lots of additional info.

Futera: Liverpool – The Headliners Key Stats

  • Headliner cards are available to purchase for just 24 hours from their initial release time

Futera: Liverpool – The Headliners Best Cards

Here’s a roundup with three of the best Liverpool Headliners cards to collect.

The Headliners Harvey Elliott (eBay)

The Headliners Harvey Elliott

Harvey Elliott is clearly part of Juergen Klopp’s long-term plans, and would have played more for the Reds if it wasn’t for the serious injury he suffered away at Leeds United last season, ruling him out from mid-September until early February.

He could yet be playing alongside Jude Bellingham in a new look midfield in a year or two. The card focuses on the first goal he scored for Liverpool upon returning from injury.

The Headliners Mo Salah (eBay

Mohamed Salah is always going to be one of the first players to make the team sheet, and is featured twice in the Headliners collection. The card above features the player after scoring a hat-trick against Manchester United in the league.

We expect him to continue breaking EPL records for the next few years, and to be especially dangerous until his lightning pace begins to fail him as age takes its toll. As current players go, you could do far worse than a national icon if you’re looking for the best investment options. He also missed out on a place in the 2022 World Cup Finals with Egypt.

The Headliners Luis Diaz (eBay

Luis Diaz looks to be a real player, and one that Liverpool will be relying on to come up with the goods over the next few years. After failing to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, Colombia are likely to build the team around the Reds forward. The Headliners release shows him signing with the Reds.

Futera: Liverpool – The Headliners: Final Thoughts

A must-have for Liverpool collectors, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the Headliners cards. They’re printed on thick stock, with a premium look and feel to the Salah card I eventually received in the mail. The Diaz/Elliott cards look especially interesting for soccer RC collectors.

There was a slight delay in terms of shipping, but Futera did send me a message to let me know. Rather than a gold one-of-one, my Salah card was numbered to 88, with the serial number found on the reverse.

We still think that it’s well worth the $19, so we’d advise to keep an eye out for the next Futera Headliners release.
