Formula 1 2022 Turbo Attax: What We Packed

The set is great if you’re looking for cheaper cards featuring the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, along with rising stars such as Lando Norris, George Russell and Mick Schumacher. The checklist is packed full of top racers.

We might have got a dodgy box, but it’s worth mentioning that a number of the cards already had superficial damage when we first took them out of the packs.

Many of the cards at the bottom were bent in one corner. It’s annoying as it’s where you’ll find the rare parallels.

You’ll be able to see the bend in the image above. I’m pretty careful when ripping packs, so I’d blame it on poor quality control as it was ordered directly from Topps.

As for the cards themselves, it’s pretty standard fare. They feature typical inserts like the 100 Club and a few Limited Editions. You’ll also be able to find unnumbered pink parallels.

In any case, I don’t expect many to leap up in price much long-term.

Formula 1 2022 Turbo Attax: Summary

2022 Turbo Attax is a great place to start if you’d like to begin building a collection of Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen cards. Of course, it’s always going to be an entry-level release.

The lack of numbered parallels is a bit of an issue, but it’s to be expected given the low cost of entry. For more serious collectors, we’d look to options like the 2020 Topps Chrome Formula 1 set. It contains a range of popular Hamilton parallels. Regardless, you can’t go wrong with this affordable collection.
