2021-22 Score Premier League were some of the more exciting packs to rip released last season.

Packed to the brim with parallels, rare inserts, rookie cards, and a few top signatures, it was the standalone EPL debut for the entry-level brand.

Boxes could be found directly via the Panini UK site. There was also a limited retail release.

Here’s what you need to know about the best 2021-22 Score Premier League cards, including RCs, a checklist, and more in this review.

2021-22 Score Premier League Cards: What to Expect

We grabbed a trio of boxes over the course of the season.

There are Retail boxes (£60) and Fat Packs (£72), and each EPL team has 10 players in the 200-card base set.

Retail has five Red parallels and three numbered parallels, while Fat Packs contain 20 Red and four numbered parallels.

Autos were released at a rate of one in every five boxes.

3D, Game Face and Intergalactic are case-hit inserts, of which we found a duo.

The Best 2021-22 Score Premier League Cards

The signatures are the most valuable 2021-22 Score Premier League cards by far, followed by a strong RC from a top four hopeful.

5. 2021-22 Score Premier League Gabriel Martinelli RC #198 (eBay)

Gabriel Martinelli is likely to lead the line for Arsenal, and his RCs were a highlight of 2021/22 soccer sets.

The Brazil international made 21 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League last season. As he can play anywhere across the front line, he’s earmarked for a larger role in 2022/23.

Gabriel Martinelli rookie cards are still some of the most exciting within the hobby, especially if he can lead Arsenal to the top four, or help Brazil to glory in the 2022 World Cup.

4. 2021-22 Score Premier League Score Signatures Wayne Rooney (eBay

Retired England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney was a prodigal talent, once seen as the better player when matched up against a young Cristiano Ronaldo.

The last street footballer, he’s now the manager of Major League Soccer club D.C. United, as his career burned out by the time he reached 30 due to the sheer number of games Rooney played since he was a teenager.

His auto from the Score PL set is hyper-rare, and valuable. There aren’t many copies on the market at any given time.

3. 2021-22 Score Premier League Score Signatures Heung Min Son (eBay

Tottenham star Heung-Min Son is one of the most popular players in the Premier League, and a national icon for South Korea.

Despite suffering from a trophy drought at Spurs along with the likes of Harry Kane, he’s undeniably one of the more talented players in the sport, and deadly in front of goal.

Once again, his Score Signatures auto is limited in number. The base version has only 10 copies, the Gold seen above is limited to five, and there’s a Black one-of-one.

2. 2021-22 Score Premier League Score Signatures David Beckham (eBay)

Signed David Beckham cards are always going to be an enticing prospect for fans on any continent.

He made waves in Europe and the United States, where he’s the current co-owner of Inter Miami CF.

Having turned out for Manchester United, Real Madrid, the LA Galaxy, AC Milan, PSG, and England, he’s also the first First Englishman to win league titles in four countries (England, Spain, United States, France).

David Beckham autographs are always worth decent money, especially if he’s in his Man United kit with a serial number attached.

1. 2021-22 Score Premier League Score Signatures Cristiano Ronaldo (eBay)

There’s arguably no better soccer investment option than Cristiano Ronaldo

The Portugal captain holds the records for most goals (141) and assists (42) in the Champions League, most goals in the European Championship (14), and the most international goals (117).

The base Cristiano Ronaldo card is fairly valuable, and numbered parallels will pay for the box. This stickered auto will easily pay for a crate, featuring a simple image of the striker.

2021-22 Score Premier League: Buyers Guide

We grabbed a number of boxes directly from Panini over the course of the season, but what do we think of the current market for 2021-22 Score Premier League cards?

Everything aside from the rarest autos and parallels are going to be attainable for the average collector. It’s an entry level set that has arguably been overprinted to an extent.

The Ronaldo auto is the card we were hoping to find, but we do like the look of the Martinelli RC if you’re sticking with numbered parallels.

2021-22 Score Premier League: Final Thoughts

2021-22 Score is an entry-level set that comes stuffed with Premier League rookie cards, parallels, and a small chance at finding a valuable autograph. (However, a rate of one auto in every five boxes isn’t the greatest.) We grabbed a couple over the course of the season, and packed nothing special.

Some of the inserts are particularly rare, and it’s not the toughest set to complete when judging by current prices. It’s hard to think of many flaws.
