I was lucky enough to be able to grab a couple of 2022-23 Topps Deco UEFA boxes, released via Topps UK and Topps Germany. One of the more popular sets overall due to the stylish designs, we’ve taken the opportunity to write a quick review, and we’ve also included a full checklist.
2022-23 Topps Deco UEFA sets were finally shipped in January 2023, offering collectors the chance to find a range of high-end autos from the biggest names within the sport. Boxes sold out instantly online, but are they worth grabbing on the secondary market? Here’s a review with our thoughts, as well as a checklist, and a look at exactly what we packed.

2022-23 Topps Deco UEFA: What to expect
Here are some of the most important stats and facts about the 22/23 Deco set:
- Release Date: November 2, 2022
- Product Configuration: 8 cards per pack, 10 packs per box
- 196 total cards in the set
- Per box: 1 Autograph, 2 Parallels

- Includes UEFA Europa League and Europa Conference League players for the first time, as well as Champions League stars

What we packed
The first box was a bust, with a Nuno Mendes auto numbered to /99. The second contained an R9 auto, mistakenly signed by none other than CR7. (More on that card here if you want to check it out in detail.)
It’s fair to say that the designs do stand out, and the limited release has caused prices to rise for some players. Even this base Mykhaylo Mudryk Artistry insert is pretty eye-catching, and includes an RC logo:
If you’re looking for cards to collect, it’s hard to do better than the Mudryk RCs found in the set. Overall, it’s hard to find many flaws, even if two parallels isn’t the most generous offering.

2022-23 Topps Deco UEFA: Final Thoughts
I got exceptionally lucky with the R9/CR7 auto; but there are so few boxes that even base cards sell fairly easily on sites like eBay. An RRP of £100 is a decent price, and you should be able to find sealed boxes for roughly £200 at the current time of writing.
(Expect this to go up slowly as boxes keep being opened.)
